Jess Cohen

Television, documentary, commercial, short film and music video producer Jess Cohen began her career at Andrew Denton’s production company; Zapruder’s Other Films producing on AFI and Walkley Award winning programs such as Enough Rope, Hungry Beast and The Gruen Transfer.

While based in NYC she served as Development Producer for creative production company Ghost Robot, working with clients including Pepsi, Toshiba and Verizon and nurtured 2 x documentary films (Birth Story and A Love Letter For You) and a narrative feature film (First Winter) through the US domestic and international festival market.

Jess continued to produce for some of New Yorks most esteemed production companies and advertising agencies, making content for clients such as 21st Century Fox, American Express, Starbucks and Bacardi. In addition, Jess has produced short films for The Guardian and a range of music videos for Guy Sebastian, Interpol and #1 Billboard artist Paramore.

After returning to Australia in 2015, Jess served as a Producer on the comedy series Plonk (Nine Network) and teamed up with the ABC and create and produce two new original projects; Hello Stranger for iView and the multi award winning series You Can’t Ask That for ABC TV.
