Nick McDougall

One of Australia’s most sort after editors, Nick began his career as a writer and producer and has gone on to collaborate across a range of genres; from sketch comedy, documentaries and factual programming to feature films and drama.

Some of his credits include Hungry Beast, The Chaser’s Yes We Canberra, Gaycrashers, Legally Brown, the iView series Hello Stranger, cult comedies Plonk and Growing Up Gracefully, acclaimed ABC documentary Matilda & Me, and the multi award winning You Can’t Ask That for ABC TV.

Nick has been nominated for Young Australian Journalist of the year by the Walkley Foundation & won best film at the Open Road Film Festival.

Nick served as a creator, writer and director of the SBS Comedy Pilot The Weekend Shift starring Lee Lin Chin and is currently working alongside Chris Lilly on his new Netflix series.
