In 2018 the Tasmanian Department of Tourism & Media set out to document the lives of unique Tasmanians as part of the “Big Fish” initiative. The goal was to capture the aspirational stories of real people in a bid to promote Tasmania’s authentic culture to the world.

Big Fish examines the unsuccessful few who didn’t make the final cut.
