Purposeful children's content with heart, wonder and play.
Georgie specialises in imaginative, purpose-driven storytelling that empowers young audiences, sparks curiosity and builds vibrant worlds full of heart, wonder and adventure.
Her television career began at renowned Australian production company CJZ (formerly Zapruder's Other Films), where she worked across a broad range of award-winning factual and entertainment programming. After serving as Supervising Producer on the Webby-nominated wine satire Plonk, she became a Development Producer at ITV Studios Australia — bringing deep editorial instincts and international market savvy to her children's work.
Georgie has since leapt into the world of children's and family content, with two animated projects quickly gaining traction. The Magical Adventures of Grandma Gogo is a whimsical preschool adventure series inspired by the acclaimed Grandma Gogo books, which has received development funding from Screen NSW and attracted international industry interest — including the attachment of an A-list Hollywood actor.
Her second show, Planet Pals: Solar Squad, is an original animated series blending comedy, science and adventure, with key creative attachments including leading science communicator Dr Kirsten Banks ("Astro Kirsten"), acclaimed writer and performer Miranda Tapsell, and Aussie comedy writer legend James Colley.
With the help of her magical brooch, Grandma Gogo helps her grandkids discover the "extra" in the ordinary — uncovering magic, mischief and wonder in everyday life adventures.
Saving Earth is hard. Saving it with a team of chaotic planetary superheroes? Even harder.
The Grandma Gogo series, written by Margot Bain and illustrated by Hiruni Kariyawasam, is being developed for television. The television adaptation is supported by funding from Screen NSW, which will officially announce the funding round in coming months.
The spokesperson told Books+Publishing the adaptation had “strong international studio interest and a Hollywood A-list actor attached as the voice of Grandma Gogo”.
Development enquiries, co-production interest, and distribution conversations welcome. Georgie attends key international markets.
